The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it truly is alarmed in regards to the higher amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The support issue produced for intervention activities a superior influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to empower the servicing of all prospects and increase entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
